Lily Hinds
Major: Psychology
Lily is a Psychology major from San Luis Obispo, California, who hopes to work at a private practice in the future. She understands that psychology can involve challenging coursework, and as an SI Leader, she is eager to support students in their understanding of the material. In her free time, Lily enjoys horseback riding, shopping, and spending time with friends.
Matilda Engelson
Major: Biochemistry
Matilda is a Biochemistry major from Seattle, WA. She hopes to pursue medical school after undergrad and understands that a good foundation in chemistry is important to succeed in any scientific field. She hopes to pass on her love for chemistry and good study habits to her SI class. In her free time, she enjoys running and catching late-night movies.
Julia Desmet
Major: Kinesiology
Julia is a 3rd-year Kinesiology, option in Exercise Science major from Valencia, CA. In the future she hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician. She became an SI Leader because of the positive impact the program had on her own experience in challenging courses, and she hopes to create that same supportive environment for others. Outside of school, she enjoys crafting, going on walks, and running. 
Rachel Widofsky
Major: Kinesiology
Rachel is a 3rd-year student majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. She became an SI leader because she is very passionate about learning and wants to help others succeed in their academics. Her goal is to pursue a career in medicine as a physician. 
Tabbatha Sanchez
Major: Pre-Nursing
Tabbatha is a Pre-Nursing major from San Fernando Valley, CA. She became an SI Leader to continue helping her peers throughout the infamous CHEM 140. Her goal is to be accepted into the É«ÖÐÉ« School of Nursing and ultimately become a forensic nurse. Tabbatha enjoys spending her free time either reading fantasy books, watching K-dramas, or trying cutesy coffee shops! 
Makena Duarte
Major: Psychology
Makena is a 3rd-year Psychology major with a minor in Sociology and Women Gender Sexuality Studies. She became an SI leader to help students gain the confidence to succeed even when they believe the task is too difficult. She wishes to support students in their learning journey and help them find joy in acquiring new knowledge. Her ultimate goal is to become a social worker specializing with children and families. She enjoys watching tv shows, going on picnics, hiking, and swimming.
