Once I got I accepted to ɫ��ɫ, I knew one of my dreams came true! 

I want to continue on the path of helping others, and I’m currently exploring different options to pursue that such as law school, graduate school, and volunteer opportunities. 

Life for most bio and other STEM majors doesn’t stop at a Bachelor’s. It’s been a lifelong goal of mine to take my education the furthest I can to work in some aspect of biomedical research.

I know when I graduate I want to become an official alumni so I can remain connected with Long Beach and fellow alumni.

I met many friends, made many memories, and grew in ways I never thought I would.

I got involved with the Mentor/myBeach program because I really enjoy gaining insight and wisdom from a mentor whose life experiences can teach me valuable lessons that can ultimately contribute my overall personal and professional growth.

I got involved in the mentor program because I thought it would be a good way to learn from someone who has been through a similar life path.

It is vital to network, be active on campus, and actively engage with others in the program. The last two years have been a rewarding experience and I feel grateful to have had such great experiences and memories with MPA students and professors.

I love Long Beach because there is something for everyone here. I am happy that I transferred to ɫ��ɫ because I feel a part of the community and school.

I remember touring Universities back in high school and stepping foot onto Long Beach State and immediately thinking, “this is where I belong.”

I believe that the myBeach program and the Alumni Association bring people together in a comfortable, friendly environment that embraces different backgrounds and allows students and alumni alike to feel a sense of importance as they reflect on what they contributed to ɫ��ɫ.

Getting involved and joining student organizations, such as the Hispanic Students Business Association, has opened so many doors for me. I have grown professionally and found a support system and a familia on campus.
