The Beach Pluralism Project is delighted to welcome Dr. Jessica Spence Moss (CSUF) to give a talk, "Cultivating an Interfaith Ethic," at the second BPP fellowship dinner this semester. 

Pluralism Fellowship dinner with Dr. Mark Smith

The Beach Pluralism Project is delighted to welcome Dr. Mark Smith, a visiting professor in the department of Political Science and International Business at LMU to give a talk, "Pluralism, Despite Our Best Efforts," at the first BPP fellowship dinner this semester. 

The BPP is awarded a $25,000 Interfaith America / American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) grant

Dr. Richard Marcus wrote the "Advancing Campus Pluralism" grant, which will help to fund the BPP into its second year. Dr. Marcus along with Dr. Sophia Pandya and Dr. Chris Fowler will represent the BPP team when they travel to the AASCU offices in Washington, D.C., on June 16-18, 2025, to meet as part of the national Advancing Campus Pluralism Cohort.

Dr. Conoley takes BPP Fellows to IA pluralism conference

Dr. Jane Close Conoley took two BPP Fellows with her to an Interfaith America conference titled: "Advancing Campus Pluralism: Courageous Leadership in Contentious Times" on March 10-11, 2025. The conference spotlighted practical approaches to bridging political, religious, and ideological divides.
