Hello everyone! My name is Vincent Miramontes-Andrade and I am currently a first-generation fourth-year Speech-Language Pathology major with a minor in Gerontology at California State University, Long Beach. I aspire to become a bilingual speech-language pathologist, helping serve disadvantaged communities. Having once experienced the field, I have a strong interest in returning back to academia as a professor to help teach and mentor upcoming first-generation students. I am excited to be interning with the Center for Successful Aging as I believe it will be a vital experience in my development as a student, leader, and most importantly as a researcher.
