Jose Reyes Hurtado
Dr. Hurtado is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the California State University, Long Beach. His work focuses on advocacy in optimizing human service organizations’ (HSOs) performance. His research trajectory is to improve the management and performance of HSOs and, ultimately, to improve the quality of health care services provided to marginalized and underserved communities. He completed his PhD and MSW at the University of Southern California, and completed his undergraduate education at the California State University, Dominguez Hills.
