Amanda Parsons DeRosier is a public relations professional with over a decade of experience working in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. 

Previously, Parsons DeRosier served as the media relations manager for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and as the spokesperson for the Los Angeles International Airport. She was also the press secretary for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Parsons DeRosier holds a bachelor’s degree from Cal State Long Beach with a major in communications and a minor in journalism, and master’s degrees from Pepperdine University in both public policy and dispute resolution.
