Interior Design Students Win Biomimcry Global Design Challenge (2016)

Students from the Industrial Design program - Jimmy Huynh, Brian Mar, Matthew Ulery, and Patrick Soriano received a $1,500 First Place award for their AquaCity Garden entry in this year鈥檚 Student 鈥淟iving Product Challenge,鈥 a new initiative of the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge, created inpartnership with the International Living Future Institute. The goal of the prize isto highlight designproducts that mimic nature鈥檚 design principles and function as elegantly as anything found in the natural world. The project began in David Teubner鈥檚 Design Methodology class and continued over to Steve Boyer鈥檚 studio in both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters. 色中色 Design Students have placed highly in this international competition for the past three years running.
