Reimagining Lecturer Evaluations
Reimagining Lecturer Evaluations: An Interactive Faculty Center Workshop
Date: Wednesday, December 3
Time: 11-1 (Lunch included!)
Location: BAAC Conference Room
Building on our first two workshops this semester, the third workshop* in our Lecturer Futures series will focus on Lecturer Evaluations, specifically Lecturers’ most critical wants and needs in the Lecturer Evaluation process. The information and insights gleaned from this workshop will be utilized by the Lecturer Evaluation Task Force to develop a proposal for a University-wide Lecturer Evaluation policy that is consistent across colleges and departments and compliant with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The goal is to create a policy that is clear and helpful, but also inclusive, equitable, and considerate of the concerns of everyone involved (i.e., evaluatees and evaluators).
Participation in the first two workshops is not required — all interested faculty of any rank (both tenure-line and Lecturers) are welcome!
Facilitated by Emily Berquist, Faculty Center Director
Chiara Ferrari, Associate Dean, College of the Arts
Raven Pfister, Faculty Center Associate Director
