Danielle Munoz is the Director of Basic Needs at Cal State, Long Beach.

The Basic Needs department assists and immediately serves students who are displaced or experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, emergencies, and other crises. Basic Needs provides services and resources to remove barriers and empower students to persist and thrive in their educational journey toward academic success.

Munoz holds an M.S. in marriage and family therapy/counseling from Cal State Sacramento and a B.A. in sociology from the University of California, Davis.
