Ted Stankowich

Ted Stankowich, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Cal State, Long Beach.

His research interests include the evolution, ecology, and behavior of predator-prey interactions across a broad range of taxa, including carnivores, ungulates, rodents, and spiders. Stankowich teaches a variety of courses, including Evolution, Mammalogy, Ecology, and Behavioral Ecology.

Stankowich holds a doctorate in animal behavior from the University of California, Davis, and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Cornell University. He was also awarded the Darwin Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
