Political Science Assistant Professor Says Ban of Residential Picketing Could Have 鈥淐hilling Effect鈥 on Protesting

Matt Lesenyie, assistant professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach spoke with the about why the Long Beach City Council rejected an ordinance banning targeted picketing outside the homes of politicians. Professor Lesenyie said such a ban would have a "chilling effect" on protests which is a central part of free speech.
