The endowment established by a named college would enable strategic, long-term investments into the pillars of our advancement, including critical programs for student success, next-generation facilities, and transformative faculty.

It deepens learning, inspires minds, and advances innovation by addressing the grand challenges faced by the region and the world. Our strategic directions are aligned with the City of Long Beach’s Grow Long Beach initiative announced by Mayor Rex Richardson in 2024, which will foster growth sectors in engineering, technology, and advanced manufacturing centered in Long Beach but impacting Southern California overall. A skilled engineering workforce enables a strong economy based on innovation.
