Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review your benefits and make changes for the upcoming year.

Whether you're considering a different medical plan, adding or removing dependents, updating beneficiaries, or enrolling in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), now is the time to explore your options.

✅ Changes elected during Open Enrollment become effective January 1, 2027
✅ Elections remain in place through December 31, 2027

❗Do I Need to Take Action?

No Action Required

If you're satisfied with your current elections, your benefits will automatically continue into 2027.

Action Required If:

⚠️ You currently waive coverage and would like to enroll for 2027

⚠️ You wish to participate in a Healthcare FSA or Dependent Care FSA

FSA elections do not automatically carry over and require re-enrollment each year.

Life Events & Mid-Year Changes

After Open Enrollment ends, changes are generally only permitted if you experience a Qualifying Life Event.

Common examples include:

  • Marriage
  • Divorce
  • Birth or Adoption
  • Loss of Other Coverage
  • Other Eligible Life Events

Please notify Foundation HR within 30 days of the event to ensure timely processing.

Adding Dependents?

When enrolling eligible family members, documentation may be requested.

Spouse or Registered Domestic Partner
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Domestic Partnership Documentation
Child Dependents
  • Birth Certificate

Additional documentation may be required depending on the enrollment request.

Navitus Pharmacy Benefits

Navitus will serve as the pharmacy benefits manager for Anthem members.

 

CHUBB Life Insurance

CHUBB Voluntary Long-Term Care

This year there is guaranteed coverage available up to $100k for all benefit eligible employees, excluding those previously declined coverage.

BCC FSA Smart Care

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

2027 contribution maximums include:

Healthcare FSA: $3,400  | Dependent Care FSA: $7,500

                                                                                 *Maximum rates subject to annual IRS determination. 2027 amounts not yet released.
