Program Information Sessions
The College of Education offers information meetings for prospective applicants who are interested in learning more about our program offerings. We encourage you to attend our information meetings per the schedule provided below.
Directions, parking information, and campus map
The Education Specialist Credential Program (ESCP) offers monthly Group Information meetings. At the meeting faculty and staff explain basic credential requirements, the pathways available in the Special Education Credential Program, and program prerequisites and requirements. We also discuss the process for application to the University and the Credential Program.
Walk-in advising is available after a student who has attended a Group Information Meeting if additional information is needed. Students can visit the Student Success and Advising Center (SSAC): SSAC Advising Hours & Contact Information

The Multiple Subject Credential Program (MSCP) offers monthly Group Information and Application meetings prior to the application deadline. At the meeting faculty and staff explain basic credential requirements, the pathways available in the Multiple Subject Credential Program, and program prerequisites and requirements. We also explain the application form, items which must be included with the application, deadlines and the admissions process.

The PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction Credential programs prepares candidates with developing skills and knowledge necessary to pass the PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction Credentials Teaching Performance Expectations. A teacher with this credential is authorized to teach Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade in self-contained classrooms.

The Single Subject Credential Program (SSCP) offers monthly Information Meetings to provide an overview of credentialing in California, introduce the program, and answer specific questions. Prospective candidates are urged to attend this meeting, and similar meetings offered by other institutions, in order to make an informed choice of which program to enter.

Graduate Programs Advising hosts general information sessions and program specific sessions, providing an overview of the Master's degrees and Advanced Credential programs we offer and the application process.

The Ed.D. in Educational Leadership offers several virtual and in-person information sessions to cover the details of the application process and program requirements, provide a brief introduction to the program of study and what to expect in the program, and provide an opportunity to meet doctoral program faculty. It is recommended that all prospective students attend at least one session. RSVP is required.
